Michael Cummings has more than 30 years of experience in the information technology industry, including corporate management, project management, contract management, systems design, systems analysis, programming and electronics engineering. Currently he is President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CoreVantage Technologies, LLC. Mr. Cummings has been President/CEO and majority owner of CoreVantage since its inception. He is a visionary entrepreneur, and dedicated advocate for creating technological jobs in rural America and other "Digital Divide" initiatives.

Mr. Cummings received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from University of North Carolina Pembroke in 1975 and an Associate Degree in Electronics Engineering in 1967. He has also completed under graduate level studies in Computer Science at North Carolina State University.

Mr. Cummings has over 20 years of experience in government information technology procurement services where he has been responsible for delivering goods and services to the Department of Defense (DOD) and other departments and agencies of the U.S. government. Mr. Cummings previously served in the Army. His military assignments included a tour in Vietnam.
